Many of my readers followed Rens blog, they would like to know.
He is resting in peace and his kids are loved by his beautiful wife. I will never forget his smile and kindness, our paths crossed at Duderstadt, hallwang and frankfurt. He gave me some 2DG, its time I started using it. When I needed a friend, he was there with a smile. I wished our journeys stayed on the same track longer, but the universe has different plans for Ren.
Its fitting his achievements will be remembered, what terrifies me and puts me in awe of the man, was how as his condition deteriorated, he stayed, focused. He endured very painful vogl Taces and somehow drove back to hallwang clinic. Every second of my fight is inspired by Ren and his legacy, he has taught me so much, the evil of port infections and the complement immune system that noone appreciates, of the ketogenic diet, so much and its all about liver strategy. I am always thinking of alpps.
Its been six months, maybe one day, i hope to meet his kids, they need to know what a courageous and brave and kind man he was, they would be proud. its the least i can do, if i live that is. metastic crc is a bitch of an illness. you never know where you stand, generally in the firing line. the problem is you never know when the trigger is going to be pulled.
the fact i am alive and ren is not might in the end come down to genetics, our hlasubtypes and our vrd polymorphism, it might be the infections he had persistently in his port, which we had in common. Or the pre german chemo.
I did my best to help him, it was not enough, but other Australian fathers and mothers will follow in his foot steps and I hope to help them, so ren will never be forgotten and his trials and tribulations, his nobel and courageous fight will in the end save many Australian lives. Thats a truth that his children I hope can cheerish, to achieve something great with our existence, Ren did that everyday of his life I am sure.

If australian oncology followed the ideas in this paper, Ren might
be alive today, he escaped to Germany butto slow. My only blessing is to have actually had time to learn.
http://www.nature.com/cdd/journal/v21/n1/pdf/cdd201367a.pdfI told all our doctors we had in common, vogl, kopic, nesslehut, siebenhuener. they were all saddenned.
We helped each other so much in small and big ways
his amazing blog do you see the ketone levels, we were trail blazing the keytone diet before it was trendy, now its common knowledge to go for K/G>1 so my recent keytones =5.9 and glucose 3.8 is what seyfried recommends.
