It's a strange odessy for us all. My family and the Aussie family. We are the only family so far in 3 buses on tour, I am proud to be with so many young aussies, mine espesially. The fallen never saw Turkish bazzars or sunflowers as we do ( picture on bus,) this is an amazing country. We celebrate suffering, they victory. Much like my many cancer friends. Cancer and war, so many common themes. My blood glucose was 6.3 this morning, not good, it's lack of exercise. I will swim Gallipoli cove and be grateful to live.
Ellie and I had Turkish baths last night, the scrub, sauna, massages were great. We finally found a camping shop and got 4 sleeping bags for tonight under the Gallipoli stars, so many souls sparkling.
